Berkshires Culture Expression Salon
An ongoing exploration of the creative process and its inherent rewards and challenges.
The salons are collaborative environments in which presenters share work—such as words, music, art, movement, ideas, or works in progress—and participants help shape the experience through attentive presence, thoughtful questions, or direct collaboration. It is a space where new ideas, community, and creative directions can emerge.
They are primarily creative explorations and shared cultural expressions, not talent shows, open mics, or formal performances. Our community values authenticity over polish, process over completion, and presence over judgment. The goal is shared creation and mutually beneficial growth rather than individual performance.
We look forward to welcoming you into our salon community, where care, creativity, and connection come together.
Dewey Hall is a wonderful, warm 150-year-old community performance space where we do our thing the last Sunday of every month. Come share in creating a safe space for creators to express themselves and be ready to ask questions and enter into conversation with some of our local creators.
Admission is free; a voluntary contribution helps cover event expenses.
